Is your receptionist GDC compliant?

The information below is taken from a GDC FTP (fitness to practice hearing) charge sheet.
What does it indicate to you and your practice with regard to how your reception team deal with and record telephone calls?
To keep yourself safe what do you need to do with regarding
  • ·         Recruitment?
  • ·         Training?
  • ·         Resources?

I would strongly suggest that the writing is on the wall regarding dedicated telephonists rather than multitasking receptionists and the use of secure encoded telephone recording systems in practice.
